Cconoc Thermal Baths (Abancay)

Visiting Hours : Hours: Tues-Weds 9:00am to 1:00pm and 3:00pm to 8:00pm. Thurs-Fri-Sat 09:00am to 8:00pm, Sun 09:00am to 1:00pm. Not open Mondays.

Location : Travel 73 km east of the city of Abancay (1 1/2 hours by bus) to Curahuasi, then 21 km (45 minutes by bus) to the thermal baths.

Apurimac

Located on the Apurímac River and surrounded by carob trees, rushes and cacti. It is said that bathing here cures illnesses including arthritis muscular pain and rheumatism, among others. Its waters are odourless and have an pleasant salty flavour.
