À Amantaní, le temps semble s’être arrêté pour contempler calmement les travaux agricoles de ses habitants, héritiers du legs de leurs ancêtres aymaras.

 

Sur cette île il existe un seul hôtel-boutique, mais plusieurs chambres d'hôtes sont tenues par les habitants pour que les visiteurs puissent y passer la nuit puis, le lendemain, continuer à profiter des champs entourés d’eucalyptus, et parsemés de fleurs de la cantuta, typiques du lac Titicaca.

 

En plus de porter un joli nom à la sonorité musicale, Amantaní est une véritable invitation au repos et à la déconnexion totale.
