The "Perú Mucho Gusto" culinary festival makes its debut in New York from September 19 to 21, bringing the flavors, traditions, and culinary essence of Peru. This celebrated event offers a unique opportunity to discover the richness of Peruvian cuisine and experience a taste of Peru’s magic in the heart of New York.
The event will bring together leading Peruvian restaurants in the United States and will delight its attendees with various themed areas, including a Pisco bar; Peruvian superfood exhibits, live cooking demonstrations, crafts and artistic performances that will give fun and flavor to the public on each tour.
Peruvian cuisine has been recognized 12 times as the World’s Best Culinary Destination, while cebiche—one of its most emblematic dishes—has been declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. These achievements further consolidate Peru’s place as a global culinary leader.
This event, brimming with flavor and culture, promises attendees a taste of the vibrant energy and joy that visitors experience in Peru. Each Peruvian recipe holds within its ingredients the history, traditions, and dedication of hundreds of producers—the people who make it possible through their daily work: cultivating the land, crafting the dishes, and bringing these culinary delights to life.

Discover Peru beyond its flavors
From the coast to the Amazon and crossing the Andes, each region offers not only iconic dishes, but also a unique travel experience.
Peru is an ideal destination for both adventure seekers and culture enthusiasts, offering a rare blend of natural wonders and rich traditions. In one journey, travelers can explore the lush, emerald expanse of the Amazon Rainforest, feel the crisp breeze of the majestic Andes, and wander through cities where history unfolds at every corner. This vibrant spirit is coming to New York through the “Perú Mucho Gusto” culinary festival, where visitors will savor a taste of Peru’s diverse regions and discover why it’s a place that captures the heart — and the palate.
From the Amazon Rainforest, Peru offers unforgettable adventures. In the south, explore the Tambopata National Reserve in Madre de Dios, where vibrant macaws fill the sky. In the north, sail aboard a luxury cruise through the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve in Loreto, surrounded by lush rainforest and the magical sight of pink river dolphins.
Peru is home to unique destinations such as Machupicchu, in Cusco, in the south, where visitors are surrounded by stunning scenery and the magic of one of the world’s most iconic wonders.
Each destination is a gateway to a vibrant culture, full of history, nature and, of course, unforgettable flavors.
