Visit the small towns of the Colca Valley

Located in the northeast part of the Arequipa region, in the province of Caylloma, this valley offers you the chance to practice various kinds of activities such as adventure sports, live experiential tourism in native communities and contemplate nature in all its splendor. It is also possible to see llamas, alpacas, guanacos and vicuñas in their natural habitat. From here, you will have a panoramic view of the Cordillera de Chila with imposing snow-capped mountains and volcanoes, where the Sabancaya stands out for its majesty. Once in the Colca, you cannot miss the Cruz Viewpoint where you can observe the majestic flight of this Andean bird, considered the largest in the world. Its expansive wings reach three meters in length which allows this bird just glide without moving its wings, showing a miracle spectacle in the sky.

The picturesque town of Coporaque receives tourists from all over the world who arrive to live an experience of coexistence with the inhabitants of the area. Chacapi Thermal Baths

There is no better way to continue the tour than with an afternoon of joy and pleasure in the thermal baths. Located 0.6 miles away from the district of Yanque, this is the ideal place to rest and relax in its two pools of hot waters that can reach temperatures of up to 122 degrees Fahrenheit and that also have healing properties for muscular pain and rheumatic diseases.

This is one of the options most used by tourists to fully know the beauties of the Colca Valley, as being several-hour tours that are carried out through the different towns of the place make it a unique experience. The hiking routes include visits and stays in the Cabanaconde, Sangalle or Yanque towns.
