Peru is ranked as third country with the greatest adventure tourism potential

Peru is the ideal destination for adrenalin lovers. In a report by the Adventure Tourism Development Index, that evaluates 191 countries using expert opinions and visitor surveys, Peru was ranked in third place in the category of the countries with the greatest adventure tourism potential at a South American level, outdoing countries such as Colombia, Argentina and Brazil.

The report also highlighted Peru’s excellent infrastructure for adventure sports and the good image of the country. Sandboarding in Huacachina, ziplining in Cusco, surfing in Máncora and trekking in the Colca Valley are the sports and destinations favored by tourists that visit Peru looking for an adrenaline rush and coexistence with nature.
