Motoring fever returns to Peru after three years. The Dakar Rally will once again pass through Peru during the 2016 competition. Lima, the only South American capital with access to the sea, will be the headquarters and the start of the race, which will continue through Bolivia and finish in Argentina.
The Dakar Rally is one of the most important global sporting events, with international coverage transmitted to 190 countries. It is expected that a total of 3 million people from across the world will not only be spectators of the race, but also of the incredible Peruvian landscapes and the friendliness of its people.
