Enjoy the PUCP Cultural Center without leaving home

The period of mandatory social isolation experienced in Peru and in many countries of the world is not a pretext for culture and art not to reach homes. This is well known for the directors of the Cultural Center of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, who, through the virtual platforms of this institution, have made available to the public some of the best exhibitions that housed their galleries in the last 5 years.

In addition to these expositions, it is possible to access new multimedia content to go beyond the works on screen. "We know that physical interaction with the work of art is essential and irreplaceable, but we do not want to stop opening new windows, shorten distances and reach even more people in these moments when culture, more than ever, is vital", annotated the institution.

The first exhibition that you can enjoy is the 81st Expo arte y diseño PUCP, which shows the works of the promotion of graduates 2019 of the Faculty of Art and Design (FAD) of this house of studies. Here you can see pieces of sculpture, painting, engraving, graphic design and industrial design, which are strongly committed to the cultural and social development of Peru, from an intercultural perspective, through research - creation.

About the Cultural Center PUCP
This important epicenter of art began its activities in 1994, with the firm commitment to become a benchmark for the visual arts in Lima, by promoting and developing exhibitions in different artistic disciplines.

Artists such as Andy Warhol, Salvador Dalí, Francisco Toledo, Botero, Leonardo da Vinci, Víctor Humareda and Fernando de Szyszlo have found a place for their works in the showcases of this institution, to the delight of the attending public.

Nowadays, the CCPUCP produces a set of cultural activities (theater, dance, music, cinema, art exhibitions and conferences), both at its campus in San Isidro and in other spaces, which contribute to the revaloration of works of art not only Peruvian but also from all over the world.
