Under the imposing Eiffel Tower, with the tayta Inti or father Sun at the top of the sky, the Inca announces his arrival in France. Around him, his tireless chasquis or messengers surround him to complete the group of ambassadors of ancient Peru that arrived in Paris for the Olympic Games. The representative of the Tahuantinsuyo, in addition to giving his support to the Peruvian sports delegation, also shared Peruvian mysticism and traditions with the city’s residents.
The ambassador of Peruvian culture was in the European country between July 20 and 26, as a prelude to the Olympic Games. During this visit, he had the opportunity to exchange his knowledge with local citizens, an activity that was characteristic of the Inca civilization in the past.
He then walked through different emblematic streets of Paris, before the eyes of several people, who came to take pictures and learn more about Peru. The Inca participated in different activities, highlighting a cocktail for Peruvian athletes, and also a payment to Mother Earth or Pachamama, as an offering for the good omen of the delegation.
