An unforgettable tour of Peru's carnivals

The beginning of the year in Peru brings with it an explosion of joy, music and color with the arrival of carnivals. Cajamarca: A famous Peruvian Carnival 
Cajamarca is full of parades, shows and a festive atmosphere that infects everyone. Don't miss the coronation of the Carnival Queen and the couplets competitions. From February 10 to 14, this carnival stands out for its vibrant energy and delicious cuisine, such as green broth and Peruvian chicharron with mote.

Loreto: The magic of the jungle
In Iquitos, the Carnival of Loreto combines Amazonian traditions with an exotic celebration. On February 11 as the central date, the streets of the city vibrate with music, parades and jungle gastronomy, such as juane and patarashca.
It is opportune to tour the city and see the Plaza de Armas of Iquitos, the Boulevard, the Pilpintuwasi Butterfly Farm and the Quistococha Tourist Complex during the visit.

Cusco: History and culture in every corner.
The Carnival of Cusco, with a central date on February 11, is a perfect mix of history, culture and celebration. The streets of the ancient Inca capital are filled with colors and music, while visitors enjoy traditional dishes such as the puchero. 
In addition, you can explore the Sacred Valley, the South Valley and other historical sites during the visit, as well as enjoy typical dance contests that take place during the carnival.

Arequipa: Tradition and celebration throughout the province
The Carnival of Arequipa, held from February 8 to March 9, is a tribute to local traditions. Activities include masquerade contests and dances, all accompanied by exquisite cuisine, such as the wheat Sango and the Timpusca.
You can visit the provinces of Islay, Condesuyos (Chuquibamba), the beaches of Mollendo, Mejía, Punta de Bombón, beaches of the province of Caravelí and experience this festivity throughout Arequipa.
