Peru was awarded the silver prize in the “Most Desirable Destination for Adventure” category, during the prestigious international World Travel Market (WTM) fair in London, England. The distinction was awarded by the renowned British magazine Wanderlust and was based on more than 3 million votes cast by 168,000 travelers from various countries, reaffirming Peruvian soil as a globally acclaimed destination.
The WTM 2024 brought an additional achievement for the South American country, which ranked tenth on the list of “Most Desirable Country”, world edition. Both awards highlight the impressive richness and diversity of Peru, through its history, majestic cultures, exquisite cuisine and impressive natural beauty.

There were more than 30 Peruvian companies that attended the meeting, at a stand that had attractions for all visitors. This space included different activations, from typical dances, local cuisine, cocktails based on Pisco, Peru's flag drink, Peruvian coffee and more national supplies.
In addition, during the fair, an interactive booth was also installed so that visitors to the Peruvian pavilion can take pictures in the company of the beloved Paddington Bear. In the latest production featuring the adventurous spectacled bear, now showing in UK cinemas, the main characters travel to Peruvian lands to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Cusco and Lima.
