Once again, Peru wins at the World Travel Awards, cementing its place as a global leader in tourism, culture, and gastronomy


Perú continues to shine in international tourism. At the World Travel Awards 2025—widely regarded as the industry’s most prestigious accolades—the country claimed four honors that reaffirm its leadership in the region.


Peru was named South America’s Leading Destination 2025 and South America’s Leading Cultural Destination 2025. It also earned recognition as South America’s Culinary Destination 2025, further cementing its place as the region’s most complete destination.


Machupicchu once again shone, earning the title of South America’s Leading Tourist Attraction 2025 and reaffirming its place as one of the world’s most iconic wonders.
