Nearly 200 buyers from 26 countries are participating in this business-to-business event, strengthening Peru's international positioning.
Peru Travel Mart 2026 opened its doors, establishing itself as one of the most important meetings and business tourism events in Latin America. The event has become a strategic platform where the country presents its ability to combine infrastructure, connectivity, cultural experiences, and unique venues for the development of MICE tourism.
In this year’s edition, nearly 200 international buyers from 26 countries came to Peru to discover new business opportunities and explore its vast tourism diversity, reaffirming the nation’s status as a competitive, sustainable destination ready to host world-class events.
Over several days, tour operators, business leaders, and international representatives participate in numerous business meetings and networking sessions designed to strengthen strategic alliances and generate new opportunities for Peru’s regions.
The main event will take place from May 14 to 16 at the Sheraton Lima Historic Center, one of Lima’s most iconic hotels. From this venue, a decentralization strategy is also being implemented, extending part of the activities to destinations such as Cusco, Ica, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, and Amazonas. This allows attendees to experience firsthand how the country integrates authentic experiences, nature, gastronomy, living culture, and sustainability into its corporate and incentive tourism offering.

One of the event’s highlights is the "Zona Peru" ("Peru Zone"), an area where international visitors can sample Peruvian specialty coffees, discover community-based tourism, adventure experiences, and gastronomy, and take part in traditional craft demonstrations and Pisco tastings
This is what makes Peru Travel Mart such an immersive experience. It shows firsthand why Peru is now a top choice for international events, congresses, and incentive trips looking to pair professional meetings with truly memorable experiences.
The 2026 edition also welcomes Australia as a new strategic market, broadening the mix of international travelers seeking culture, adventure, and sustainability.
On top of that, the welcome ceremony held at the Pedro de Osma Museum, in the iconic district of Barranco, proved that business travel in Peru can also transform into deeply enriching cultural experiences. In doing so, Peru Travel Mart 2026 continues to position the country as one of the region’s leading destinations for meetings tourism and international events.
