A film produced by PROMPERU and the United States Tour Operators Association was chosen as the "Best Food Video" by the 2015 Trippy Awards.

As part of the United States Tour Operators Association's "Travel Together" campaign, PROMPERU participated in five videos for the Tripfilms website, where awards are decided by online votes.

The winning video "Living like a local," featuring travel bloggler Kelley Ferro, takes a look at restaurants that teach people to prepare ceviche and pisco sour, food carts in Miraflores and Barranco, drinks such as chicha morada (made from purple corn), traditional foods like cancha serrana (roasted corn kernels), and the variety of produce in the Surquillo market.

Tripfilms has a network of more than 6 thousand active travellers who use the online travel channel to learn about new alternatives for tourists. In the "Best Food Video" category of the 2015 Trippy Awards, the "Food of Peru" video competed for votes with fun and interesting productions that show the culinary variety in Vietnam and in United States cities such as Chicago, Los Angeles and Hawaii.
