From August 12 to 15, 2026, the Sacred Valley of the Inkas, in the Cusco region, will once again host the Adidas – Andes Race 2026, one of the most important trails running competitions in Peru and one of the most spectacular in South America.

Organized by Andes Race and celebrating its eleventh edition, approximately 1,200 runners from Latin America, the United States, and Europe will gather to take on routes that wind through mountains, ancient Inka trails, and stunning landscapes that look like they were taken from a postcard. The experience begins in the city of Cusco, with activities at the historic House of Culture, before continuing to the Ollantaytambo Square, the gateway to one of the country's most fascinating destinations. Through its sponsorship of this important sporting event, PROMPERU brings the diversity of experiences that Peru offers closer to the world. In addition to promoting sports tourism, it introduces travelers to destinations where adventure, nature, and cultural heritage come together, inviting them to discover unique landscapes and enjoy unforgettable experiences.

Whether choosing the challenging 13K, 30K, 60K, or 100K route, every distance offers an opportunity to push your limits while exploring some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the Sacred Valley of the Inkas. To commemorate the experience, every participant will receive a race kit that includes a breathable technical race T-shirt, a cotton finisher T-shirt, the official event medal, the bib number with its safety pins, and all the necessary services to safely enjoy the route, as well as bottles of water and isotonic drinks.
