Cavinzas Islands and Palomino Islets
Located on the coast of the constitutional province of Callao (Peru), Cavinzas Islands and Palomino Islets is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Metropolitan Lima and Callao.
Every day it receives thousands of domestic and foreign visitors, who are amazed by its breathtaking scenic beauty and its coastal marine fauna, where about 5,000 South American sea lions stand out.
In addition, it has just won the ITB Earth Award 2024, which recognizes the work of conservation of marine areas through tourism and sustainable management of this destination.

Taquile Island
A living experience! On the highest navigable lake in the world, Lake Titicaca, are the Taquile and Amantani islands, recognized as two of the most popular destinations for travelers visiting Puno.
In both, it is possible to find various community tourism projects that preserve the culture and natural environment of the region. Here tourists have the opportunity to stay with a local family, as well as participate in agricultural and livestock activities.
It is worth mentioning that, in 2023, Taquile Island was chosen as one of the "Best Tourism Villages in the World 2023" by the World Tourism Organization.

Pomac Forest Historical Sanctuary
The largest carob tree area in the world is in Peru! Yes, in northern Peru, in the department of Lambayeque, is the Pomac Forest Historical Sanctuary.
In this forest of almost 6,000 hectares, tourists will be able to see more than 95 species of birds, such as the Peruvian plantcutter, the Tumbes swallow and the rufous flycatcher, as well as a variety of mammals and reptiles. You can also appreciate archaeological heritage of great importance since there are more than 30 pyramids that belonged to the Sicán or Lambayeque culture.
In addition, the forest offers various activities for visitors, such as bicycle tours and picnics in natural surroundings. Tourists will also have the opportunity to learn about local artisans, who work in harmony with the natural environment, promoting sustainable techniques and preserving the cultural heritage of the region.
In 2021, thanks to its historical wealth and the efforts of its inhabitants and communities to preserve its natural value, the Pomac Forest entered the list of "Top 100 Destination Sustainability Stories" by the international organization Green Destinations.

Machu Picchu
In 2021, Machu Picchu became the first wonder of the world to obtain the Carbon Neutral certification granted by the Green Initiative, which was ratified in 2024.
To achieve this recognition, the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu adopted effective measures to reduce its carbon footprint and offset remaining emissions, implementing sustainable practices such as solid waste management and promoting a circular economy.
This was achieved thanks to the articulated work between the public and private sectors, as well as tourism agents and inhabitants of the region.
