Peru Mucho Gusto 2024 plans to seduce palates in Lima

Perú Mucho Gusto is back! The most important gastronomy encounter of the Peruvian cuisine comes back to Lima, the country’s capital, from October 31 to November 3 with a unique proposal that aims at celebrating the variety of flavors among all regions.

Perú Mucho Gusto will have gastronomy options from different parts of the country; thus, inviting people to know about the variety of inputs, techniques, flavors and culinary proposals. This event will allow tasting the best seafood dishes, as well as food from the highlands and the Peruvian amazon. Everything in one place only!

All you have to know to plan your visit 

This year, the Costa Verde levelled area in Magdalena del Mar, Lima, will be the setting of this great event. To get there from Jorge Chavez International Airport, you can take a cab. The trip takes approximately 29 minutes and covers a distance of 9.8 km. We recommend following the directions on Google Maps to get there without any inconvenience.

With free admission and extended hours from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Peru Mucho Gusto Lima invites you to discover the flavors, traditions and cheerful atmosphere that promises to wake up all your senses.

It is important to mention that the event coincides with a very special celebration: the "Day of the Peruvian Creole Music", a Peruvian national holiday that pays tribute to the country's traditional music. It is an excellent opportunity to enjoy not only Peruvian gastronomy, but also its rich musical culture.

A Culinary Journey to the Peruvian Gastronomy 

In this second edition held in the capital, attendees will be able to enjoy a selection of dishes that will include from the famous Cebiche and the traditional aji de gallina, to the ancestral Pachamanca, cooked in an underground oven.

The 145 exhibitors that will participate in the festival represent the 25 regions of the country; thus, showing the diversity of ingredients and cooking that make the Peruvian gastronomy one of the most hailed cuisines.

Fun and culture, all at once!

During the activity, attendees will be able to find an extensive entertainment schedule that will include live music performance and diverse music genres such as salsa, typical Peruvian creole music, cumbia from the Amazon and more. A festival that cares about the planet 

As part of its sustainability approach, the second edition of Perú Mucho Gusto in Lima will be a Neutral Carbon Festival because it will use biodegradable kitchenware, recycling stations and trashcans to separate waste. Also, thanks to the campaign “Neat Peru” (Peru Limpio) of the Ministry of Environment, responsible habits have been encouraged. Enjoy while taking care of Peru!
