This June 2026, the country will host AdventureELEVATE Latin America, one of the world's leading gatherings for adventure tourism. This will be the first time this event, organized by the Adventure Travel Trade Association with the participation of PROMPERÚ, is held in Peru. Throughout the three-day event, attendees will take part in conferences, workshops, business matchmaking sessions, and immersive activities designed to foster learning and, above all, connections. One of the event’s most anticipated highlights will be the familiarization trips—immersive experiences that will allow visitors to discover Peru’s incredible diversity. Travelers can delve into the lush rainforests of the Madre de Dios region in the Peruvian Amazon, or explore legendary routes in Cusco, the cradle of the Inka civilization. They will also have the chance to marvel at the stunning glacial lakes in the Andean region of Ancash and experience exciting adventures in the towering desert dunes of Ica, a coastal region also famous as the birthplace of Pisco, the country’s iconic drink.
