The Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Export and Tourism (PROMPERÚ) announced that the Peruvian Navy’s training ship, B.A.P. Unión, embarked on its international voyage from the port of Callao on May 9.
During this mission, the ship will serve as a mobile promotional platform showcasing Peru featuring Casa Perú, an immersive experience designed to let the world truly feel the country’s richness and diversity. As a symbol of national identity, one of its majestic sails proudly displays the renowned Marca Perú.

The B.A.P. Unión’s itinerary includes visits to a diverse array of ports: Balboa (Panama), Mayport (United States), London (England), Aberdeen (Scotland), Esbjerg (Denmark), Bremerhaven (Germany), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Liverpool (England), Dublin (Ireland), and Vigo (Spain).
This initiative offers a valuable opportunity for PROMPERÚ to continue positioning Peru as a premier destination for tourism, investment, and business. Working closely with commercial offices abroad, PROMPERU will conduct a range of promotional activities, strengthening the country’s brand and opening new doors for Peruvian exports and its vibrant tourism sector.

Aboard the B.A.P. Unión is a dedicated crew 155 members and 71 cadets from the Peruvian Naval Academy. . This ambitious voyage not only fulfills a diplomatic and promotional mission but also provides comprehensive training for future naval officers, combining rigorous maritime instruction with the unique experience of representing Peru on the international stage.
